Manny the monkey likes to eat beef and drink milk. But he has a problem. He can only moo.
Once as Manny walked by Casey the cow the broke into argument. They were arguing about who moos the best. Manny yelled, “I moo the best.”
Casey screamed, “No, I moo the best.”
Just then Dolan the dog comes up to the two mooers. They ask Dolan the dog to decide who moos the best. Dolan the dog breaks into tears because he wants to moo like Manny and Casey. He cries through his tears, “You guys both moo equally!”
A hiker comes by and said “That’s a mooing monkey! I must be crazy!” and runs away quickly.
The two mooers agree that they moo equally. Just then Dolan the dog mooed. The three animals all laughed and became friends.
The Big Apple in the Big Apple
CRACK! The fence that was holding the biggest apple in the world just broke. The fence was on a tall skyscraper in the center of New York City. It was 1000 times the size of a regular apple. The huge apple was on display to represent that the city was called the, “Big Apple”. The giant apple landed all in one piece on the street as it fell.
“Ahhhhhh!’ A sound came from several people running like crazy away from the massive rolling apple. It knocked down a statue in Central Park honoring Blalto. He was a lead sled dog in Alaska that saved a lot of kids.
The apple kept on rolling through the streets of New York hitting cars and anything in its path. A man getting his paper got his foot ran over as the apple rolled by. The man yelled, “My foot is broken!” Then he limped into his house and called 911. The 911-operator thought that the man was joking. Then all of a sudden, the huge apple rolled into the river and was never seen again.
